Terms of Service

Article 1: Purpose
  • 1. The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the user and the Company (JL Laser Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd.) in relation to the use of the internet-related services provided by the Company through its website (jl-laserim.com) (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Site’).
  • 2. For any rights, duties, and responsibilities of the ‘User’ and ‘Company’ not specified in these Terms and Conditions, the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws and customs of the Republic of Korea shall apply.
Article 2: Definition of User
  • 1. The term ‘User’ refers to any individual who accesses the ‘Site’ and receives services provided by the Company.
Article 3: Provision and Change of Services
  • 1. The following services are provided to the ‘User’


    • Ethical Management Reporting Center Service

    • Any other services that the Company develops in-house or provides to the ‘User’ through collaboration agreements with other companies.
Article 4: Suspension of Services
  • 1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services in the event of maintenance, inspection, replacement, malfunction of information and communication equipment such as computers, communication interruptions, or other reasons. Additionally, the Company may completely discontinue the current services due to a replacement with new services or other reasons deemed appropriate by the Company.
  • 2. In the event of service interruption under Paragraph 1, the Company shall notify the User in the manner prescribed in Article 5, Paragraph 1. However, this shall not apply if prior notice is not possible due to interruption of the Service due to reasons beyond the control of the Company (intentional or unintentional disk failure of the system administrator, system down, etc.
Article 5: Notification to Users
  • 1. When the Company notifies an unspecified number of users, the notification may be posted on the ‘Site’ bulletin board in place of individual notifications.
Article 6: Protection of Users’ Personal Information
The Company strives to protect the personal information of users, including user registration data, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The protection of users’ personal information is governed by the applicable laws and the Company’s ‘Privacy Policy’.
Article 7: Obligations of the Company
  • 1. The Company shall not engage in any acts prohibited by laws, regulations, or these Terms and Conditions, or acts that are contrary to public morals. The Company shall make efforts to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

  • 2. The Company shall establish a security system to protect the personal information of the ‘User’ and ensure the safe use of internet services.
Article 8: Obligations of the User
  • 1. The User shall not engage in any of the following acts
    • Acts that infringe upon the rights of the Company, other third parties’ personal rights, or intellectual property rights, or that interfere with business operations.
    • Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, emails encouraging participation in pyramid schemes, or emails containing obscene or violent messages, images, or sounds, or disclosing or posting information that is contrary to public morals.
    • Sending or posting information (such as computer programs) that is prohibited by relevant laws and regulations.
    • Impersonating an employee of the Company or an administrator of the ‘Site’ services, or using another person’s name to post content or send emails.
    • Posting or sending materials containing software viruses, or other computer codes, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
    • Acts of harassment, such as stalking, towards other users.
    • Collecting, storing, or disclosing another user’s personal information without their consent.
    • Using the services of the ‘Site’ for commercial activities, such as posting advertisements or sending spam emails to an unspecified number of individuals.
    • Violating the terms and conditions established by the Company for the services it provides, or any other regulations related to the use of services.
  • 2. The User shall be responsible for compensating any damages incurred by the Company or other users due to their fault.
Article 9: Attribution of Copyright and Usage Restrictions
  • 1. The assets related to the ‘Site’ include copyrights, trademarks, technological information, text, graphics, audio, video, downloads, links, and source code (hereinafter referred to as ‘Website Service’). The Company holds all rights to these services. All forms of information are provided for the convenience of the ‘User’, but the Company does not grant any commercial rights to use this information. The ‘User’ is not permitted to use the ‘Site’ or ‘Service’ for any purpose other than personal use, under any circumstances.
  • 2. The User shall not use the information obtained from the ‘Site’ for commercial purposes, such as reproducing, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, or using it by other methods, or allow third parties to use it, without prior consent from the Company.
Article 10: Disclaimer
  • 1. The Company shall not be held responsible for any loss of expected profits or damages arising from the use of the materials obtained through the ‘Service’.
  • 2. The information and materials on the ‘Site’ do not meet the requirements of securities trading organizations. Therefore, the Company advises against using these materials to make investment decisions. The Company explicitly does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of these materials as commercial or financial information.
  • 3. The Company provides various links based on its own criteria. These linked websites are provided for the convenience of the ‘User’ to obtain information; however, the Company assumes no legal responsibility for these linked websites and does not guarantee the reliability of these websites. It is up to the ‘User’ to assess and use the linked sites effectively.
  • 4. The ‘User’ is responsible for the reliability or accuracy of any information, materials, or facts posted on the screen. The Company is not liable for any damages caused to the ‘User’ or third parties due to inaccuracies or falsehoods in the posted content.
  • 5. The Company is not liable for any damages incurred by the ‘User’ or third parties due to the ‘User’s intentional acts or negligence in relation to the use of the ‘Service’.
Article 11: Revision of Terms and Conditions
  • 1. The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions within the scope permitted by the relevant laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions, the Electronic Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization.
  • 2. If the Company revises these Terms and Conditions, it will announce the revision, including the effective date and reasons for the revision, on the main screen along with the current Terms. The announcement will be made at least seven (7) days before the effective date and until the day before the effective date.
  • 3. The ‘User’ has the right to reject the revised Terms and Conditions. The ‘User’ may express their intention to reject the revised Terms within fifteen (15) days after the revision has been announced. If the ‘User’ rejects the revision, the Company may terminate the contract with the ‘User’. If the ‘User’ does not express their rejection within fifteen (15) days after the announcement of the revised Terms, it will be deemed as an agreement to the revision.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising between the Company and the User regarding the use of the service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuit arising from such disputes shall be filed with a court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms and Conditions shall be effective from January 2, 2024.
